PMP8740: need reference design for fixed 80V DC output

I have AC input (220V,50hz) , i want to make fixed 80VDC with variable current(max current upto 25A),Please provide a reference design for the same or if there is already a design similar to it , which can be used

    Hello Shrey,

    For 2kW, 230VAC input the PMP8740 is a good starting point (you need to redesign only the second power stage to deliver 80V instead of 32V).

    I you want to achieve better efficiency, I suggest to work with GaN, totem pole bridgeless PFC and digital control. We have a excellent example as TIDA-010062:

    This is 1kW nominal, and supplies 12V @ 84A, but also here the second power stage should be redesigned. The PFC stage supports up to 1.6kW at 230VAC.
