PMP9656: Power Dissipation details

Hi team,

Can you please share the power dissipation details on the PMP9656?

Below is the customer calculated result, but can’t meet the measurement report

P-Loss, Q1~Q4(CSD18532Q5B): 2.5mOhm *10.16A* 10.16A * 4 pcs=1.03 Watt

P-Loss, L1 (SER2014-402MLB): 2.12mOhm *10.16A* 10.16A=0.21 Watt

Total=1.03+0.21=1.24 Watt

There are 5 Watt (6.286-1.24) can’t be found. Please help clarify on that

They must add it in our thermal simulation.

    Hello Roger,

    There are many losses that are not accounted for in your calculations. Mainly you have neglected the switching losses, turn off losses, driver losses, etc.

    Customer can not only include conduction losses.
