TIDA-010247: DSG turn-off behavior with parallel/swappable modules

Part Number: TIDA-010247
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76972

Tool/software:

Hi

We are planning to use stacked BQ76972 per TIDA-010247 in  battery swappable  modules that can be paralleled on a common DC bus.

In our case, when one module turns DSG OFF, the PACK bus might stay high (since other modules remain connected). This means PACK+ does not necessarily decreases.

  1. To be able to control de DSG FETs OFF. Is it acceptable to tie TOP_LD to UP_GND so the FET is actually turned off, driving the BOT_DDSG from MCU to turn on Q47.
  2. Could this cause any additional concerns for DSG turn-off in a live parallel bus ?
  3. can we have an schematic revision?

Thanks
