PMP41115: Getting Nowhere

Part Number: PMP41115
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS26750

Tool/software:

I could really use some help with getting my PMP41115 up and running. I'm trying to use the USBCPD Configuration Tool and I can't even get the board to be recognized by the tool for downloading configuration code generated by the config tool.I've recently noticed that R17 & R19 are populated on the BOM, but crossed out in the schematic. With the options configured by the BOM, SBU1 is shorted to PD_D_P & SBU2 is shorted to PD_D_N. This doesn't sound right to me.

I've seen in a manual that when connecting the USB-C port to the board to the computer and selecting "Options" in the configuration tool, a port should have been created called "Texas Instruments". This does not happen. Could anyone give me some tips on how to get started, PLEASE????

  • Hi Rick,

Can you reach out to the application engineer support for TPS26750 for the Configuration tool. as for this reference design, they own the software. we are support hardware.

what I use is the binary file from application engineer and using flash center software and Advark to flash the software. for R17/R19, they can be unpopulated.

for details of software configuration, please reach out to AE of TPS26750.
