I need your suggestion based on TIDA-010933.

We would like to realize a photovoltaic microinverter with 800W power, with two channels for photovoltaic panels and one channel for back-up battery.

Given the reduction in power compared to the TIDA-010933 , do you think that you can use some cheaper components or not worth it ?

    Thank you for your interest. You can go in 2 ways: to save costs on heatsink and enclosure and to save some costs on components.

    With 800W you can go without a heatsink, reducing the costs on assembly. If you would like to do heatsink-less design - you can keep the same components on LV side and replace HV GaNs to bottom side cooling devices. You can implement totem pole and HV CLLLC with new LMG365x family. BTW ne zero current detection (ZCD) could be used to control CLLLC sync rectification.


    If you would like to save costs on components - you can you can use LMG210xR044 instead of LMG210xR026 in CLLLC LV side. For HV side you can try half-bridge LMG2650  for both HV CLLLC and for HV DC-AC stage. You need redesign magnetics and you can remove half of the DC Link capacitors. Also LF MOSFETs could be replaced with cheaper ones.
