Part Number: TIDA-050063
Hi,
Hope you are well.
In the TIDA-050063, the pre-charge circuit design (the link is showing as below). I want to understand how to select the inductor and the MOSFET.
In the design, the average current is calculated that based on charge time, namely I=C*dV/dt (let us use the example, 4A for the 800V charging). This current value is using for the inductor and MOSFET selction, right?
My question is, If the DC current is 600A in the full-load scenario, is it okay to use a 10A inductor and MOSFET? Will these stuff not get hot and damage?
Can you please explain the basic rule to select the components of precharge circuit, espeicially fo the high power application.
Many thanks,
Kind regards,
Zu
