Does the PSPICE simulation work when the schematic is left as default?

You are going to have to help me out on how to do that. I remember seeing that check box, but I can't seem to find it now.

Hi Joe,

If you download the PSPICE model fresh from the product page, it should be in its default configuration. Once we get that working, we can start to modify components one by one and see where the issue might be.

I deleted everything that I had and downloaded the part model again. I connected it just like the typical application in the data sheet and I still get the same parameter errors.

It may be an issue with your environment then? The model published on TI.com should be working. Can you please send a screenshot of your PSPICE schematic that you are using?

There might be an unconnected ground. 

Was anything removed from the model as well? There should be a value to set the FASTSS_B and STEADY_STATE parameters.

I have not changed anything at all with regards to the model.

Hi Joe,

Can you please try downloading the PSPICE model from the device product page directly and running the schematic without changing any of the parameters? What does the schematic look like in that case?

Sorry for the confusion. I didn't notice the .opj file in the folder. I was just using the part model and symbol in my own schematic. You should have a readme file that explains what all is included and what parameters are required. Or change the name from "simulation model" to "simulation model & example". Anyway, the schematic looks like this: 

I copied the parameters to my schematic and it appears to work fine.
