TPS53355 in Switcherpro with 850kHz

I want to simulate a design with TPS53355 with high switching frequency.

The switching frequency is controlled by a resistor from pin "RF" to either ground or VREG.

In the design in SwitcherPro (v3.17.0.0 downloaded today) there is only one resistor to ground.

Hence, no frequencies larger than 500KHz can be simulated.

Is that right, or do I miss a way in which I can add a resistor between "RF" and VREG?

Hi Andreas,

Yes, you are right. SwitcherPro only can simulate the typical application which is switching frequency is below 500kHz. This is the SwitcherPro limitation. I don't think you can add a resistor from RF pin to VREG pin in current SwitcherPro program. You could order a TPS53355EVM or use the spreadsheet as attached to verify the performance of 850kHz.

Hi Andreas,

You can actually change the frequency of operation if you enter the specifications through the "Advanced Inputs" tab. There is a column for the operating frequency desired. I am attaching an example below which is operating at 700KHz.
