MSP430-FLASHER: Unable to Download MSP430 FET Driver for MSP-FET on Windows

Hello TI Support,

We are using an MSP-FET for MSP430 programming/debugging on a Windows PC. The MSP-FET is detected by Windows and appears as two USB interfaces:

  • COM11: USB\VID_2047&PID_0014&MI_02
  • COM12 – MSP Debug Interface: USB\VID_2047&PID_0014&MI_00

The MSP Debug Interface (COM12) is currently using the generic Microsoft USB Serial Device driver (Driver Date: 21/06/2006).

We understand that the official MSP430 FET Driver 1.0.1.1 is required for proper MSP-FET operation with MSP430 Flasher. We completed the TI export compliance form to download the driver, but the download does not start after clicking the download link.

Please provide a working download link for the correct MSP-FET driver or advise us on how to obtain and install the required driver.
