DC Transfer Characteristic and parameter sweeping tina ti

Hi,

 I'm trying to simulate the typical DC Transfer Characteristic of a transistor but with no results... I only get a linear curve instead of the the typical current voltage figures. Could you point me to some how-tos? I'm using a PDF file (advanced topics) that was written for TINA 7 but I'm using the latest  version of the software.
