I noticed that the values computed for the divider resistors for the FB pin (using a TPS62110) were in the 500K amnd 180 K range for 5V but for all other output voltages they were values like 510/180. I believe the Higher values are the correct ones. I sure the supply would work with the lower values though the resistors might get a little warm.
I also noticed that with an input voltage of 12V the program selected an capacitor C2 with a voltage rating of 6.3V.

Hi Stephen,
We gave it a try on our Switcherpro online version. For Vin=12V, Vout=5V, Iout=1A, the tool picked a feedback resistor value of 510K and 150K which corresponds to a Vout of 5V for a 1.153V reference voltage as per the TPS62110. The voltage rating of the input capacitor was 16V. We will check it on our desktop version and get back to you. While we check it out, can you please use the online version of our tool? Thanks for bringing it to us.
Regards,
Gerold

Hi Stephen,
We checked that the SwitcherPro Desktop results are matching with the online version results for both the feedback resistor network and the input capacitor voltage rating. Also please make sure that when you Edit Inputs after creating a design, check the box which says "Allow SwitcherPro to pick components". You can have a look at the design report that we created for Vin=12V, Vout=5V.
Regards,
Gerold
Hi Stephen,
Sorry about the capacitor C2 voltage rating. Yes it is a bug. We were able to see the voltage rating of input capacitor C1 was chosen as 16V while the voltage rating of C2 was chosen as 6.3V for Vin of 12V. As a work around, please make sure that C2 has the same voltage rating as C1.
Thanks,
Gerold
