TINA-TI won't create a .tsm file for SG3525A

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

The is an SG3525A  .subckt  PSPICE model available on the web, out of which I wanted to create a .tsm file to use it in a larger  TINA  circuit simulation

But when trying Tools->New Macro wizard and importing the  sg3525a .cir circuit  I get this error:

Invalid device A1.Line #4

Line A1 N017 0N009 0 0 N017 N020 0 DFLOP VHIGH =5.1 TRISE=20N ROUT=30

P.S. This is the first line of the model after .subckt  sg3525a line

Any hints ?.

Thanks.

  • Ron,

The PSpice model you reference is not a PSpice model. The A block is an LTSpice specific reference that is not supported in PSpice (or any other Spice except possibly XSpice or the precursor of Spice2). TINA-TI does not support these behavioral blocks since they are not PSpice supported.
