At the attached WEBANCH design,  for TPS51315,with Vin=4.5V-14V, why pin "V5IN" connected to Vin?

Is'nt iit should be connected to 5V only?

Am I missing sothing?

    Hi Eli,

        Yes. The V5IN and the V5FILT pins have to be connected to a 5V input. As VIN voltage in your application is much larger than that, we can not short VIN to V5IN. While we are working to correct the schematic from our side, please go ahead and change your schematic to have a separate 5V supply for  V5IN and V5FILT pins. Sorry for the incovenience.
