WEBENCH Login Issue

I'm having the same issue, trying to use web bench to design some active filters - it keeps asking for registration info and won't let me go anywhere. See Groundhog Day.

Hi Surinders

I am frustrated that I am not able to log in with myTI login details and hence not able to open the designs shown on Webbench.

It takes me to a page asking me that it needs to verify my email. I have done that a few times, received an email from you for activating verification, and activated it again.

However, when I open Webbench, it always opens as guest and then I am not able to open the designs.

Have enabled cookies but still not solved the problem.  I am using Windows7.

Webbench seems to be a great tool that allows you to create different designs, optimise them, but it is of no use to me as I cannot open the design and see the details.

Hope you can help.  I found you responding to problems on this forum and hence asking you for this help via this forum.  I live in the UK.

I also have the same problem.

I login before I start the webbench tool, and then it says that Im not logged in. Then I press sign in, but it ask for my email validation that I just have been done.

I have exactly the same problem. I get the following error and no matter how many times i validate my email address i get the same error. I also live in the UK.

i have tried Windows XP & 8 with explorer, firefox and chrome and all have the same issue. Please help; thank you

 Hi, I'm having trouble launching Webench.  I've logged in, power supply input parameters, and pressed "START DESIGN".  A new window opens.  The window says "Please wait while WEBENCH application is loading..."  Then nothing happens.  I have Adobe Reader XI Version 11.0.5 on Windows 7.  I've used Webench before on this same computer, wonderful tool.  Could my corporate IM be blocking something?  Thanks!

Hello Ed,

This might be an issue with Adobe Flash Player on your computer.  Can you try uninstalling Adobe Flash Player completely from your computer?  Then, try running WEBENCH(R) Designer and it should prompt you to download a new installation.  Let me know if this works for you.

I spent some time trying and trying to enter Webench using Firefox. It simply doesn't work. Quick "remedy" is to use Microsoft Internet Explorer (I tried IE 8.0 and don't know if newer version works or not). That browser could be a security hole (don't know how secure are newer versions) but if you're using it just to visit Webench it shouldn't be a source of concern (I don't have even that problem since I'm running it in Oracle Virtualbox environment on my Ubuntu 13.10).

Hello! I have problems with registration. Everything is ok except phone number. I tried different ways but without success. All the time it says "Please provide a valid Telephone Number". If that can help - I am from Latvia. I really want to try Webench design tool!

I gave up long time ago. The easiest way is to simply forget Firefox and use Opera instead. There is a possibility, but I never check that, that some of Firefox popular extension/add-on is making trouble (i.e. AdBlock) but I never test that.

I'm using Internet Explorer ... but I can try using Opera.

The login process should work on all major browsers.  If you would send me the email address you are using to login, I can look to see if there is an issue with your account.

Hi Khang, and sorry for bother once again with this issue. I'd like to highlight that you don't have a problem with login process but with Webench when it try to make connection/recognize a session (I'm just guessing) and when failed to recognize user made a redirection to login procedure which is somehow 'broken' and you cannot continue from this point on. I tested that many times in Linux/Firefox and just gave up since I found that such mysterious issue does not exists with Opera for Linux.

The latest site maintentance/update didn't fix this problem with FFox (64-bit Ubuntu 14.04LTS). Opera and IE (via Oracle Vbox) are still work fine. Here is new screenshot what I got after successful sign in:

Since I didn't locate some other forum group that address support issues I'll continue here. After the latest upgrade I cannot add new post in any forum group if I tried that with Ffox or Opera what works before on 64-bit Ubuntu 14.04LTS. I'm adding this post using MSIE via Oracle Vbox. First, in Opera the button Sign in to post >> is disappeared (see picture below). That is something what you can see on FFox or MSIE if you are not signed in.

As mentioned above in Ffox that button exists (see picture below).

If I try to sign in, new nice sign in screen appears but after that it's end up nowhere.

We ahve limted testing in Opera as it is an unsupported browser from our Community Vendor Platform.  But i do have a question:  If you are already signed into E2E, does the Post button appear on the Opera page?  We can do a quick check of the Page as we have not seen this in Chrome, Firefox or IE on Windows.

Also, are you still seeing the redirect after login to a blank page?

I can understand that you cannot support all that browsers. I mentioned that new situation with Opera just to make you aware that something (wrong?) is happened.

Yes, I still have the same problem and I'm currently using MSIE via Vbox to send this reply. Few hours ago I even didn't had a chance to access this page with MSIE. I got messages such as:

Gateway Timeout
The proxy server did not receive a timely response from the upstream server.

Thanks Denis.  We did not make a change on that page, but are looking into what may be wrong.

I had encountered that error earlier in the morning as well and reported it.  I was notified that we made some minor updates approimately at noon which cleared the issue for me.  Are you still seeing this problem on your MSIE vis VBOX?
