I-V Characteristics of diode 1N4007

Hi everybody,

I m new to TINA 9 - TI. I just wanted to draw the I-V characteristics of diode using simulation. but i could find a way to draw one.

Please help me draw it.

Hi Ankush,

This can be done by clicking on Analysis --> DC Analysis --> DC Transfer Characteristics and then entering the range across which you want to sweep the diode voltage. An example is attached.

I tried to plot various graph in an analysis but i could not figured it out. So, i just want to know if i can plot the following graph in any analysis and how.

V1 vs logV2

V1 vs expV2

logV1 vs V2^2

V1 vs V2/V3

Hi Ankush,

You can do that after you run the simulation. Click on any waveform, then go to Edit --> "Post-Processor". Here you will be able to manipulate the waveform and create custom functions as you please. Let me know if you run into any issues.
