TPS7A1601 spice model not working in TINA-TI

It seems the spice model available on the TI-product-page will not import correctly as Macro into TINA_TI, V9 (Version 9.3.50.40 SF-TI). It is also not availble as a preinstalled component in the library.

I get the following error: "Invalid device: $CDNENCSTART. Line #38" when the TINA is trying to parse the .lib file

If there is a way to simulate with this circuit in TINA-TI I would be most greatful.

I get same error for TPS7A1650

The PSpice models for power products in the prodcut folders are encrypted and cannot be used in any simulator other than PSpice version 15.7 or higher. I will enter a request for the translation from PSpice to TINA-TI for this product.

Hi Britt, and thanks!

Would it be possible to ask for the TPS7A47 to be added to the translation list. It would be a better choice for my design, and would be preferred.

Hi Britt,

I am having the same problem with the new UCC27714 spice models not working with TINA-9. They show errors and will not compile.

The UCC27714 product folder already has a working TINA-TI reference design and spice model. I checked just now and it works fine. Are you using the TINA-TI reference designs on the web and having issues with it?
