TINA-TI v9 - AC Analysis - AC Transfer Characteristic - Post-processor

Hello,

I'm trying to define my own function curve using the "Post-processor" within "AC Transfer Characteristic".

I'm getting an "unknown identifier" error everytime I use the "log" function.

I can't seem to find any instructions that might tell me how to use the function properly.

Has anyone have any successes using this function or having similar problems?

Thanks.

  • Ngai-Mint Kwan,

I have tried the log function after running an AC simulation and I was able to reproduce your error:

"unknown identifier". You are not doing anything wrong, I think the problem might be software related.

While we look further into this issue to find a solution you can always use:

    log(x) = ln(x) / ln(10)

I have tried using ln and it seems to work ok, it just doesn't like log.

I hope this helps you continue with your project and I'll try to look for an answer on the "unknown identifier".

Please feel free to post if you have any further questions.

    Best Regards,

    -Marcos
