Hi. experts !

I am using Chip-Bead-Ferrite (MPZ2012S102A) to decouple rest system from SMPS.

Additionally it can limits the charging current during start up phase (12V input, 2x100uF Tatalum, 85mohm ).

This bead can be modeled with LCR (three in parallel) (refer the figure below)

Is there any similar spice model in Tina tool ?

I could not find it .

Hi,

I don't know of a primitive Bead-Ferrite model in TINA but I think you are in the right direction by connecting the RLC circuit. For some reason the picture didn't upload right, can you please try uploading the picture again and we'll take it from there?

Here is a Ferrite Bead set up in TINA-TI that has been used previously. You may have to tune the values to match your particular need.

Is there a way to plot resistance and reactance too? Like this:

I do not believe that TINA can plot in this way. If you choose a Nyquist plot, you can get the relationship of the real and imaginary parts of the impedence.
