TPS54617 pin assignment of Switcher-pro is different from that of the datasheet.
Please check and revise it.

Regarding the TPS54617 part:

Hmm... which version # is are you referring to? I am using V3.4.12.18364 and the pin out is still incorrect. Also, when I select the "synchronous switching only" box and put in 550Khz, the sync pin is left floating. This should be tied high according to the data sheet. The same goes for the TPS54317 part. Am I doing something wrong here? I have prevously designed in the TPS54610 and TPS54310 (TSSOP pkgs) and the software gives the expected results (correct pinouts and sync pin pulled high).

I appreciate any help you can provide!

Also the layout tab references the wrong device (TPS54x10). It looks as if this device is not correct implemented in SwitcherPro.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We have plans to fix the pin assignment & layout for this part in the release3.6 (first quarter 2010).
