There are quite a few design considerations when designing a 3KW inverter.  This type of project is not typically given to a new engineer.  For example, if this is a grid tie inverter you will have to make sure you comply with UL1741 for the US case.  Other regions will have their own requirements.

Thanks for the reply. as you said this 3KW project is not given to a new engineer, but i am doing this as of my own interest. i am new to inverter field. but lot of interest.  i will go through the details you mentioned.  please tell me if any other note i have to go through to get more details.

Here is a good general paper on inverters.  It does not give much detail on the digital control but covers the design and test considerations.
