where are the Boost converters in SwitcherPro?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61087, TPS61202

A couple of observations:

There are no SWIFT boost converters represented. TPS61xxx or TPS63xxx. When will we see these

The design wizard is not so wizardly when it recommends buck converters for obvious boost requirements (try entering a Vin of 2.5-3V and a Vout at 5V at .05A).

Any ideas when these will be addressed in switcherpro?

Thanks for your feedback on SwitcherPro.

We are right now working on adding TPS61087 which is a boost converter. You can view the parts being added to SwitcherPro by visiting SwitcherPro page on TI website at http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/switcherpro.html#Related%20Products.

We will look into the bug where entering boost specifications brings up buck devices. Thank you for bringing the bug to our attention.

Hi all,

I just downloaded SwitcherPro Designer, and I searched for TPS61202 boost converter everywhere , but I didn't find the design for simulation. Could you tell me where I can download this design ?

Thanks for your interest for TPS61202. This part does not have either SwitcherPro or WEBENCH model.

Please check our list of all WEBENCH models at:

There is a long list of boost converter models.
