Cadsoft Eagle import issue

Hi,

I was very surprised to see that you managed to support Cadsoft Eagle 6.4 as well.

But only the schematic seems to work as expected (more or less, GND signals, power source and load reported an error cause they were not connected)

But now I tried to generate the .brd file out of the schematic. Then I get just some points but nothing usable. Hope at least should work? This would save me several hours on each design!!!

Hey Chris,

Let me apologize up front that the current Eagle exported schematics don’t have the footprint libraries which are needed to convert a schematic into a PCB file. We are working to address this issue. If you can provide me the design IDs and your email address, I can try to generated the footprints for your designs so the ratsnest can be generated for the PCB files.

Hi Cang,

I have resolved Chris's eagle issue a while ago offline. I will close out this e2e.

Can you please share your WEBENCH design or the downloaded zipped file? Are you having similar issue as Chris which he wanted to generate schematic netlist for his PCB layout. However, if you are working with a devices has PCB export, you can download the PCB directly into Eagle and forego the translation process from Schematic to PCB.
