Simulation time, incredible slow

I have a simulation using the TI-TINA which runs so slow that it is hard to cope with: 2.64ksec. for a simulation time of 3.96 sec.

The Virtual osciloskope setup: Trigger Source: VM3 - Model: Normal, Time/Div: 20u, Position: 120u / X Source VMS, Trigger level 1000m, rising edge - No store

If I during the simulation change the frequency of the signal at VG3, the execution speed of the simulation drops to a very low speed.

What can be done to make this faster?

Update: I have tried to copy the same schematic into a new simulation file, this runs OK (as expected)
