LM25085 Spice model import to Altium

I'm trying to use the spice model for the regulator LM25085 in Altium but I'm not having any success. It seems the model is encrypted and that Altium is not able to decrypt it. Would it be possible to get an unecrypted version of the spice model?

Or it could be me doing it wrong of course, if so, could you please describe how to import an encrypted spice model with Altium?

Hi,

Altium (which uses XSPICE simulator) may not be able to simulate the LM25085 unencrypted model.

We are working on a flow which will enable importing the LM25085 model in Altium.

I will be sending you soon the details on how can we import the LM25085 model in Altium and simulate it.

Anders,

Altium does support PSpice model import. You will need to request the unencrypted PSpice model. The following forum post explains how to make this request:

If you have a direct TI support contact, they can also reequest the unencrypted model for you. Some unencrypted models require an NDA.
