No warning if inputs outside component datasheet(TPS54620)

Hi,

 

there is no warning if inputs outside the datasheet spec.

e.g I'm using the TPS54620 with PVin and Vin tied together at 4V input. There is no warning in SwitcherPro that this desgin doesn't work because Vin must be greater than 4.5V.

Is it planned to add such warnings in the SwitcherPro software ?

    Hello Andreas,

    You are right. Since SwitcherPro does not support split voltage rails and if VIN and PVIN are tied together, then the minimum voltage supported should be 4.5 V. 

    We have fixed this issue and will release this fix in a few days in v3.6.
