Number of state variables =0

When i try to analyse this circuit using steady state solver, it says "Number of state variables=0."

I have TINA-TI(free version).

What do i do to resolve this?

(BTW SORRY if this has nothing to do with the TI C/C++ comiler forum, i coudnt find the forum for noob TI questions :) )

Yeah, this is not a C compiler question. In fact, I know so little about this, I cannot recommend the forum you should use. I'll start asking around.

Hi Ashwin,

I'm not sure what you're trying to build, but you've selected an ideal op amp, put one input at ground, and the other at 5V and left the VEE/GND connection floating.

If you look under File - Open Examples - TI Test Circuits, you'll find the reference design for a number of OPA products. That should get you started.

Ashwin,

You have this ideal amplifier configured wrong. As David mentioned, you are missing a negative supply voltage to the amplifier. Additionally, you have configured ths with a positve feedback by connecting the + input through a 10k resistor to the output pin.

I would suggest this kind of circuit.
