SwitcherPro bug.

The following problem was found by my customer while using SwitcherPro.

Here is another bug to report on SwitcherPro.  The version that I have constantly writes to the Windows event log.  The SW wasn’t working this morning.  I would start it up and nothing happened and there were no error messages.  When I tried to uninstall it, the SW informed me that the Windows event log was full.  I cleared the event log and repaired the SwictherPro installation to get it working again.  The SW probably shouldn’t be writing to the event log every time it starts.  If it does, it should inform you when it will not start due to the event log being full.  Here is the version information

  • Hello Jack,

Whenever there are any errors on user's machine while running SwitcherPro desktop application and we are not able to reproduce the problem at our end, we use these logs to track the issue. Therefore, our application write logs to event log.

We have recently resuced these log writes to minimum and we are working on reducing it even further.
