Hello all,
I can't find spice models for TI's switcher regulators. Where are TI's LT Spice .SUBCKT models?
thanks George

Hi George,
You will find PSPICE and TINA models for TI's switching reguators in their respective Product Folders under Tools and Software. Is there any particular model you are looking for?
Thanks,
Lakshmi
I installed TINA and a big library of models, but LM2674-5 (the one I want) is does not seem to be in the library.
George,
Also, you can find a complete list of devices supported with models here: http://webench.ti.com/webench5/spicemodels/#
Thanks,
Hi Anil,
We do not offer an HSpice model for this part. To request the unencrypted model, please refer to the following post:
Thanks,

I tried to go to that link on TI website to pick up the unencrypted model. However the link (or the page) has a problem.
It keeps on saying 'need to have v11.0 or higher of Adboe Flash player' - this even after i just downloaded v18.0...
Can you look into this?

Hi Anil,
Please refer to the following E2E FAQ post regarding unencrypted models. Here is the concerned section. TPS62085 model is still encrypted. You will need an NDA with TI to get the unencrypted model.
Getting the unencrypted model
1. Many models on www.ti.com are encrypted. You will need the unencrypted model in order to import it into other simulators.
2. In order to find unencrypted models from TI, please visit www.ti.com/spicerack and type in the keyword “unencrypted”. This will filter out all the unencrypted Power type of models on www.ti.com. These can be downloaded directly from the web portal.
3. Many models on www.ti.com continue to be encrypted. If you do need these in unencrypted format, please contact your TI Field Applications Engineer or submit a request through www.ti.com/support and they should be able to help you with this request. Note that this may need a valid NDA with TI.
4. Once you have the unencrypted model, you can begin the process of importing the model into a tool of your choice.
Nikhil:
Turns out eASIC already has an NDA in place with TI (valid till Sept'16).
I 'chatted' with someone on your corp website today to find out who the local FAE for S.Clara, CA area is. But it turns out that there are no more live local FAEs which TI has on payroll anymore. Instead he asked me to send email to 'support' to get the model...now this is getting frustrating. He didnt give any specific email address or anything...can you help me with this?

Hi Anil,
The support website to send your request was provided in my previous post. Did you send your request through this link?
Yes..i did exactly what you said above yesterday...i provided the NDA# & other info in that emai.
The browser did flash some error msg when i hit the 'submit' button but then the form cleared...is it possible for you to check if my email has made it through?
If not, i will submit again using IE browser..
-Anil G
Anil,
Did you get an automated email from them after submitting your query? If not, then your request did not go through and I would recommend sending it again. In any case, I have sent them an email asking them to check if they received your query.
Thanks,
Anil,
Just to clarify, for a case like yours where you do not have dedicated FAE support as you have identified in your previous post, please continue to use the E2E forum as the 1st avenue to ask your questions. TI engineers will try to resolve your questions over the forum if possible. If further followup is needed, you will be directed to TI support or to a TI Approved Distributor as is relevant for that case.
I checked with the support team. They had not received your first request (for which you got a submission error), but received the one that you sent the second time. They will get back to you with further details.
Thanks,
