Error during installation the newest version

Hi everybody,

I downloaded the newest version of  'SwitcherPro' - ver. 3.6 2 days ago. I started it installing but during installing I got Error message - see bellow.

I did not find the SwProDT. file on my HDD.

OS: Windows XP service pack 3, Administrator rights, more then 10GB free space.

Could somebody tell me what is wrong?

    Hi Marian,

    This error message seems to indicate that the SwitcherPro installer cannot write to the system event log. Could you please:

    1) Start the MS "Event Viewer" application (Programs -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer) in the administrative account you used to install SwitcherPro.

    2) Please click on the "Application" log. Do you see any events that begin with "SwProDT."?

    3) See if you can delete all the "Application" events by right clicking on "Application" -> "Clear all Events." In general, you may want to clear all events on the host.

    4) Once the Event Log is clear, please try to reinstall SwitcherPro. If it does not work please post your install log file. It should be in C:\Documents and Settings\<loginid>\Local Settings\Temp\VSD<xx>.tmp\install.log, where <xx> is a number. If you have multiple VSD directories, please post the latest/newest log.
