variable resistor in TinaTI

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

Hi,

i d like to simulate a resistor bridge circuit with TinaTi.

I remember from my spice class, that you can create a voltage controlled resistor to simulate the excitation of the bridge.

can someone please give me a hint how to do that with TinaTI?

thx

  • You really can't do it in TINA-TI. To do it, you need controlled sources, which are available in the commercial version of TINA, but not in the TI version at this time.

What you could do is to use the parameter stepping function of TINA-TI and make one of the resistors on the bridge the control object, and step the values - would work for basic DC analysis but wouldn't help you with transient analysis.

    Hope that helps -
