hello

Does TI provide the Spice model of LM5116-HT for Thermal simulation prupose?

I am planning to use it at 150C for 48V/4A application. Is this achievable by LM5116-HT buck converter?

Hello,

We do not model temperature effects in the spice models. You can use the LM5116 models to see the typical behavior of this device at room temperature. Also LM5116 (not the HT version) is supported by WEBENCH. If you create a design for this device in WEBENCH, we have enabled thermal simulations so you can check how hot your board will get.

Since LM5116 is a controller, the capability of your converter heavily depends on your design quality.
In general, 48Vout@4A is possible with a help from a heat-sink or air cooling.
