Error message "Invalid device: $CDNENCSTART. Line #50." New Macro Wizard for TAS5421
Romualdo,
Please see the following FAQ:
https://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/webench_design_center/w/faq/3052.encrypted-models
Hi JC,
Thank you very much, I could successfully add the tas5421-q1.olb file into OrCad Capture 16.6 library, but I'm still learning how to use it. I would be really great if we could have it on TINA TI.
Best Regards,
Romualdo,
You are using PSpice Lite which does not support encryption. Encryption is only supported for PSpice version 15.7 or higher.
Romualdo,
Please contact Cadence directly to see if your version will support encryption and a more complex netlist/model that contains more than 75 nodes. PSpice Lite is a limited version of PSpice and does not support all of the features of the Full version. Please see the following for these limitations:
http://www.orcad.com/sites/orcad/files/resources/files/OrCAD-Lite-Limits_0.pdf
I believe that the encrypted models are not supported, however, Cadence would need to verify that.
HI Caleb,
I was looking at the wrong part number earlier. For this device, we have enabled the Simulation export from WEBENCH to TINA-TI. To get the TINA-TI model, please follow the instructions in the following document. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
