TPS40195 UVLO Resistor divider how is it calculated by SwitcherPro?

I have a design with input voltage range from 4.5 to 6V(typ. 5V).

The SwitcherPro selects 196k for R8 and 105k for R9. If I calculate Von and Voff according to the datasheet, Von will be 3.6V and Voff will be 2.59V. How does this correspond to the input voltage ?

Great question.

SwitcherPro normally set the UVLO parts based on the start voltage. It shoots for 80% of Vin Min in most cases. This insures that at minimum Vin the device can start.

In this case 4.5 is the minVin (4.5 x 0.8 = 3.6)
