TPS62130 feedback voltage - Tina-TI simulation

Hi,

I have been using the TPS62130 TINA-TI Simulation Schematic from TI and have discovered that the model has a feedback voltage of 0.5V, but the datasheet says it’s 0.8V. Which one is right?

Calum,

I believe that the voltage is 0.8V once the device reaches regulation. Please see the plot below:

This is the TINA-TI Transient reference design set for 12V input, 3.3V output, and a 3A load. The V(FB) is shown in the last waveform.

Hey Britt,

My TINA-TI simulation results don’t agree with what you posted. The results below are for a design with VIN=5.5V and Vout=1.8V. As you can see, Vfb is 0.50V. The simulation results shown in the forum look a little confusing because the Vfb trace was very noisy. As you can see below in the second picture, mine is very clean, which is what I would expect to see.

The picture did not come through. Could you post your .TSC file?

I simply ran the reference design from the product folder and monitored the FB pin. It should reflect the ripple from the output voltage.

Please note the scale on the posted results.
