Hi,

Could you tell me about Vin cap value of TPS53515?
There is the following description in the data sheet.

Is this an example?
Can you recommend it other than this value?
Result of Webench ｓｉｍｕｌａｔｉｏｎ was 2.2uH.

Looks like that is a mistake in webench. That capacitor should be 2.2nF. I'll move this to the webench forum and see if they can correct it.

Why 2.2pF capacitor?
Customer wants to know the reason.

It is just from the datasheet. They recommend 2200pF (not 2.2pF) for high frequency bypass. that is within the range I have seen for other ICs.

Hi Yusuke-san,

WEBENCH team will make the correction on TPS53515 schematic and add a high-frequency bypass capacitor of 2.2nF (value from data sheet which can be increased up to 100nF - please see User's Guide).

The Cvdd value of 2.2uF corresponds to C20 & C25 -please see User's Guide too- but C5 was omitted.

It will take some days to release the correction in order to test PCB export after adding this capacitor.
