MPPT Solar Charge Controller TIDA-00120 / PMP7605

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00120

Hi,

I am planning to work on TIDA-00120 (http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-00120) with PMP7605 codes for designing a MPPT Charge Controller.

After going through the design files available on TI's website I have below queries regarding the design.

1.The Test report says efficiency of 95%. At what stage out of 4 stages of battery charging it has been tested ?
2.Is the design IEC-62093 & IEC 60068 compliant ?
3.How is panel disconnect and reverse panel protection done or in a better manner what if reverse protection diode is not there in the panel, how will the MOSFET at the panel terminal will help to protect the photovoltaic solar cells ?
4. Any documents to direct to the working of interleaved buck topology ?

Thanks & Regards,
Apurwa
