Avery basic question... How do I import the TINA-TI model for the TPS62110 into the TINA-TI simulator? I tried to import the .lib file and I got a message saying that I should get an older version of TINA-TI if I want to import. Is import the correct thing to do? Is there somewhere else where I can get the model into the program? I have just started using the TINA-TI program and need some guidance here.
Thank you,
Michael Nycz
Michael,
The TINA-TI model is already available for this device in the product folder under the "Tools and Software" tab. The best approach would be to download the TINA-TI Reference Design which is the working simulation setup and then modify the components to your end application schematic. Let me know if you have more questions.
I am also attaching a resource on encrypted models and requesting unencrypted models which will give you some more information about how to import them into other tools other than PSpice and TINA-TI in the future if needed.
Thanks,
Nikhil,
I have found the model for the device I want to use. The issue is how do you import it into TINA-TI? I tried doing an import of the .lib file and it would not import. It said that I needed an old version of TINA-TI to do this. Am I missing something fundamental here? If you can do a step by step of the import process that would be a big help.
Thank you,
