Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65400, TPS652510, TPS65261-1, TPS65261
Hi All,
since the TPS65400 is not present in webench, is there any other buck in webench which has similar performances to the buck present in the TPS65400 ?
thanks,
Domenico

TPS65400 is in work for WEBENCH release. There are other PMU's in WEBENCH you can try, for example: TPS652510, TPS65261, and TPS65261-1.
You can also put in your Vin, Vout, Iout requirements in WEBENCH and find out about other parts. For multi-output problems, use WEBENCH Power Architect and select the option to include PMU's and you may more possibilities.
If you send me your email address I you the altium schematic I have. Here is the design calcs I did based on the data sheet.
I have another question posted about calculating the filter values for each feedback network. If you have the formula to derive those values it would be very helpful.
Hi Nikhil,
the max height is a wish of the customer, so in case we cannot support it we can simulate with other parts. The frequency is more relevant because this is the power supply of a SDR so there is the needs to keep under control the frequency content of the signals.
I'm open to other solution too, but the customer prefers PMU/PMIC approach and not tree of discrete converters.
thanks for the support,
Domenico
TPS65400 is released in WEBENCH now. Please try to run it from the Product Folder panel.
