SN74AUP1G97DBV ibis model simulation

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74AUP1G97

Hello, I want to simulate the SN74AUP1G97 ibis file.

I have imported the ibis file into ADS & Pspice, however, there are only 4 pins in symbol not a 6 pins.

If other 2 pins are already connected to ground and Vcc each, how can I connect 4 pins to use as an inverter in datasheet?

4 pins' name are not A,B,C,Y like as datasheet but In, PC, GC, DigO in ibis symbol.

I will give 3.3V squre wave for input signal with 5n sec rise, fall time. So I want to see inverted output signal for 1MHz~10MHz frequency sweep.

Thanks in advance! :-)

  • Hi WooJin ,

I will move this post into simulations forum who can guide you better .
  • Hi WooJin,

I don't have experience using IBIS in ADS. But in Mentor Graphics HyperLynx, the pins are correct. When I view the file, there is a unique pin assignment for each Component, and they are all correct, with signal name and model_name provided.

There's also a Model Selector statement that allows the correct buffer model to be selected depending on the power supply used.

In HyperLynx, there's no way to connect the input and output together, but I can't comment on what ADS allows. I do know that the IBIS buffer model doesn't model any internal circuitry. It is only intended as an I/O buffer tool.

I'd suggest checking the ADS forum for information regarding placing and simulating an IBIS model in their tool.

    Regards,
