SPICE Model for UC284x

Hello,

I'm looking for a SPICE model for the UC284x family of current-mode PWM controllers. The Webench tool doesn't show that one is available, and a general search of the internet hasn't yielded a good result.

Hi Paul,

Please consider using UCC28C4x for your application. It is the improved version of UC284x and has spice models available.

Unfortunately my application requires operation on a voltage rail up to 30VDC, so I cannot alter my design from the UC2843 to the UCC28C43 (without adding components to the regulation stage).

Paul,

From a model perspective, there is not going to be major changes between these parts. You can still use the UCC28C43 model to get a rough idea of your circuits performance.
