TPS65400

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65400

Hi,

I am using TPS65400 to get 10V (4A), 5V (4A), 4V (2A), and 3.3V (2A) from the VOUT1, VOU2, VOUT3, VOUT4 respectively. The input voltages are 14V. My two questions are:

1. Should I tie PGND1/PGND2 and PGND(thermal pad) to different grounds?

2. I follow the EVM schematics as reference and tied thermal pad to same ground with PGND1 and PGND2 in my design. Firstly, I assembled the  necessary components for VOUT1 and got 10 volts, VDDD = 3.3 V and VDDA = 6 V. Then, I  assembled for the second output and got 5 V too. Unfortunately, after assembling the third and fourth outputs TPS fails and all outputs gone even VDDD and VDDA.  Do you have any idea what happened to TPS or what is my mistake?

Thank you very much.

PS: I used 4u7 5.6A inductor instead of 2u2 because of absence

SS1, SS2, SS3, SS4 are floating

I2CALERT, CLC_OUT, SDA and SCl are floating
