Can any one give me the circuit of LM3409 with input voltage of 12-24V dc and output current rating of 5A

This is a very simple device so the LM3409 EVM is basically the same circuit you will use. You just need to use an inductor with a high enough current rating. You may want to reduce the switching frequency a bit to improve efficiency as well.

Thanking you sir, I used STD30PF03LT4 (MOSFET P-Ch 30 Volt 24 Amp) and a inductor of SRP1038A-150M(Fixed Inductors 15uH 20% SMD 1038 AEC-Q200).Initially it worked but after a day,there is voltage jump at the drain of the mosfet.....What was wrong?Kindly suggest.....
