How do I prevent WEBENCH from reverting my custom components back to defaults?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62140

Hello

I'm trying to run some WEBENCH simulations with the TPS62140 DC-DC converter. The datasheet for this device suggests that an inductor value of 1 to 3.3uH may be used, but WEBENCH defaults to 2.2uH, with no option to select components with other values. In order to override this default, I have created custom inductor components with different values. This works and simulates fine, however, if I then go on to customize other components, e.g. feedback resistor values, then sometimes previously customized components get reverted back to their original default value. This behaviour is inconsistent and unpredictable. I have yet to determine a series of steps to reliably reproduce the bug. To obscure matters further, it seems that sometimes the schematic shown on the simulation screen does not match the circuit being simulated.

For example, if I set Rfb2 = 27.0k, Rfb1 = 4.7k & L1 = 1.0uH/0.026Ohm/3.3A, then run a load transient simulation, it appears to simulate without any issues, but the simulation output doesn't make sense. Its only when I reload my last sim with the Past Sims button that I see the inductor value doesn't match the Current Design State.

Thanks

James
