Why are the NexFET device models only given in PSPICE (encrypted) form?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CSD17313Q2, TINA-TI

Dear Britt,

How would one get this NDA? Currently I'm interested in the CSD17313Q2 for an MSc thesis project. I am a student of Delft University of Technology. Does my university have an NDA with you already? Or can I sign an NDA personally for this device?

Thanks in advance,

Ide

  • Ide,

An NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) is a legally binding agreement between two companies as to how the information that they share will be controlled. The information that is shared using an NDA is usually very sensitive data and could cause harm to the business of one or both companies if the information was not controlled properly (typically, design or process data that could be used by a competitor to gain an advantage).

In order to find out if TU Delft has any NDA's that would allow the PSpice model for a NexFET to be provided, please contact your administration office. They should be able to tell you if there is an NDA in place.

The alternative would be to use TINA-TI for your simulation and we could supply the encrypted model there.
