Hi,

I have a question about webench thermal simulation at LM5175.

My customer has simulated webench about LM5175.(Design:4659473/1 LM5175PWPR)
Result, M4(Component Name) was generated heat to 251 ℃(5.378W).

I was tried to simulation.(Design:1224810/306 LM5175PWPR)
Result,M4 was generated heat to 50 ℃(0.00W).

There was a difference in my results and customer results.

If you have any information updates such as the WEBENCH or the cause of the difference was born,please teach me.

Hi Watanabe-San

Thank you for pointing out the accuracy issue of the M4 power loss calculations. The thermal simulator depends on those calculated power loss values to produce good simulated results. Given that the WEBENCH calculations yielded "0.00W" and "5.37W" for M4, it does not looked real values. We will look into the issue and will get back to you.
