TPS630250 BXL footprint in Altium reportedly doesn't match datasheet spec

Hello team,

Could someone please check this: convert the TPS630250 (RNC) BXL to Altium 16 using UltraLibrarian and check if the land pattern matches the datasheet spec? I received the below image today regarding this question.

Ahmad,

Thanks for pointing out this error. The problem started in our source Altium footprint. I've updated our source for that, and we will work to update the .bxl as soon as we can.

Note that pads 1-3 do not exactly match the datasheet recommendation as they now have rounded rectangular corners. I'm pretty sure that is what the packaging group would recommend today if they were to revisit that drawing. The new footprint now has the mask opening the same height as the stencil openings on those pads, which was the biggest problem you noted.
