Hello there,

I had a problem in importing the OPA847 Spice model into ADS as the following error message always pops up and doesn't allow the simulation to start.

Error detected by hpeesofsim during netlist flattening.
`opa847_model_s1.s_s1' is an instance of an undefined model `spice_vswitch'.

The SPice model is the one downloaded from TI website: www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware

I would be so much appreciative if you can help me in that.

Also, ADS may have a way to convert the switch model. You will have to verify that with ADS support. Here is an example I found on the ADS support pages:

One of our ADS experts gave me the following file. It should allow you to use the OPA847 in ADS.

Hi Britt,

Thanks for your fast response. I followed your recommended procedures but not succeeded in getting the same frequency response, at lease gain, according to the provided by the datasheet. By the way thanks for your help and time.
