why does the export data did not correspond to input data in tina?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

my input data sample rate is 2.5G but export data did not have the same sample rate? how do I change the export data to have same sample rate?

  • Steven,

Simulators adjust the time steps that they used in order to achieve convergence and the proper solution. You can set the maximum time step to a fixed value, however, the simulator may still need to use a shorter time step based on the algorithm being used for solving the matrix. I will check to see if there is a way to have TINA-TI only output the data at a certain sampling rate. I am not familiar with the capability.

  • Steven,

I have confirmed that TINA-TI cannot product identical time point outputs as it has for inputs. The only possible way to do this would be to limit the Max Transient Time step and then post process the output data with an external tool that provided sampling at the required time points and would interpolate for time points that did not exist (re-quantization).
