TPS65400 in SwitcherPro

Hi All,

I know the TPS65400 was added recently to Webench, is it planned to be added to SwitcherPro, which is much more "playable" ?

If not present, is there any other (mono) buck in SwitcherPro which has similar performances to the buck present in the TPS65400 ?

Eric,

SwitcherPro has not been updated with any new products for quite some time. We would prefer that you use WEBENCH® Power Designer. The TPS65400 is already enabled for it. You can access it from the product folder for the device.

OK, I understand. Unfortunately AFAIK Webench does not allow to change switching freq and to tune compensation network according to users needs. SwitcherPro did propose to change either components values or Zeros and Poles position, showing the resulting Bode diagram with Gain margin, which was very useful. Don't know if you're planing to add this...

Eric,

This is already available on many parts in WEBENCH®. It is called the Compensation designer. Unfortunately, the TPS65400 PMU does not have this feature enabled. I will check to see if it can be turned on for the PMU channels.
