Vcc and Ground properties for logic symbols

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

Hello to all, can anyone give me a description of how the Vcc and Ground properties are used for logic symbols?  I'd like to change Vcc between standard logic levels (1.8, 2.5, 3.0, 3.3) but I get a warning that states "Some internal pins refers to a non-existing jumper."  Thanks.

  • Sean,

I am assuming that you are using TINA-TI. First, the VCC and GND fields in the logic devices refer to jumper names, not voltage values. What you have to do is to have a jumper named for each entry. For example, you could name the Ground Pin GND and the Vcc pin VCC. Here is what they would then look like:

I am not sure of the effect that these values have on the devices.
